Sad News

On January 29, 2009 my project lost one of it's biggest followers, my Dad. There is much to be celebrated about his 90 years. He is greatly missed.

wheel well fun

So this is the extension of the plastic inner fender on the left front. I should have taken a picture of it trimmed. I'll work on that. now on to some fun.... painting and undercoating the wheel wells etc. Oh and the engine compartment too. all in preparation for dropping the body back on the chassis. Then I'll feel like I am getting somewhere - wooohooo!!!

Had to put a new roof on the older part of the house......including adding skylights

In the meantime I have done some work on the right front fender and wheel well liner but no pictures yet.

June and July

Some pictures of inner fender work. The black tub is from a nursery and the plan is to use pieces of it to extend the plastic part of the inner fender to the lip of the wheel well on the metal fender. The pieces on the clothes pins are tests on different glues and expoxy on the plastic.
